Behavioral Health Clinic for Families (BHCF)

The Behavioral Health Clinic for Families (BHCF) is a collaboration between the Department of Psychiatry, University of Minnesota Physicians, and the Institute for Translational Research (ITR). This satellite clinic, located in Downtown Minneapolis, offers psychotherapy for patients of all ages. Interventions include the latest evidence-based treatments, which means they have been scientifically researched to achieve the best outcomes.

Individuals are seen by a specialized care team led by a psychologist and joined by a doctoral-level graduate student therapist. Providers consult and coordinate with social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, and educators, as needed. This broad care model allows providers to dedicate more time with patients resulting in high quality care and outcomes.
