Addiction Medicine Program (AMP)

The Addiction Medicine Program (AMP) provides interdisciplinary assessment and treatment to adults who have substance use or other addictive behavior disorders.

Our services

You will complete a 2-visit intake process with each visit lasting approximately 2-3 hours. The first visit includes self-report questionnaires, brief cognitive testing, and a diagnostic interview. The second visit will include medication history review and a medication evaluation. Following this comprehensive assessment, our team will provide individualized treatment recommendations. These may include medication management, individual therapy, group therapy, pharmacist services, or case management.

  • 18+ years old
  • Primary problem is substance use or another addictive behavior (e.g. gambling)
  • Not requiring acute hospitalization

This program is particularly appropriate for patients with complex psychological or psychsocial needs based on any of the following:

  1. Co-occurring mental health problems in addition to addictive behavior
  2. Special populations, including high profile or safety sensitive (e.g. health care professionals, professional athletes)
  3. One-time consultations
  4. Medication assisted substance treatment needs

If you are unsure whether AMP is a good fit for you, please call us! We are happy to answer your questions.
