Research Summary/Interests

Dr. Zagoloff’s research is focused on the relationship between youth psychopathology and family functioning. More specifically, Dr. Zagoloff is interested in ways in which child psychopathology affects parental stress and the influence of parental psychopathology on the extent to which youths respond to treatment. Additionally, Dr. Zagoloff is interested in predictors of response to treatment for different evidence-based practices.


Teaching Areas

Dr. Zagoloff trains and supervises clinical psychology graduate students and interns as well as psychiatry fellows. She is also a member of the training faculty for the University of Minnesota Medical School APA-accredited psychology internship.


Clinical Interests

Dr. Zagoloff is a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota and provides clinical services in the Child and Adolescent Anxiety and Mood Disorders Clinic. She conducts psychological assessments as well as individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. In conjunction with individual therapy, Dr. Zagoloff conducts family therapy and parent guidance sessions when indicated.

Dr. Zagoloff has been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapies as well as Behavioral Activation for depression.
