Summary

Dr. Miron received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University in 2016 and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Durham VA Health Care System. Following internship, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship specializing in Trauma and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago. As a PTSD researcher and clinician, Dr. Miron is interested in reducing suffering following trauma exposure and understanding factors that influence outcomes following potentially traumatic events. She is currently a member of the Advancing Research on Mechanisms of Resilience (ARMOR) lab at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System and contributes to prospective, longitudinal research on successful adaptation following stress and adversity among military personnel.
