Summary

The focus of my work is in schizophrenia research through experiments using postmortem brain samples, animal models, and clinical studies.

Research Summary/Interests

My main focus is schizophrenia research, under the direction of Dr. S. Hossein Fatemi. Over the past several years I have worked on projects investigating dysfunction of the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and fragile X mental retardation (FMRP) signaling systems.
