Summary

Dr. Angela Tseng earned her doctorate in Child Psychology and Neuroscience from the Institute of Child Development, University of Minnesota. Subsequently, she completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship for Translational Research in Child Psychiatric Disorders at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons where she was also a Gray Matters at Columbia Research Fellow. Before joining Dr. Suma Jacob’s Laboratory in the Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Tseng was a Research Associate at the Institute for Translational Research (ITR) in Children’s Mental Health at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Tseng examines how children and adults process emotional stimuli using behavioral, genetic, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) measures. Her primary focus is on the development of novel interventions and treatments for Autism Spectrum and related Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
