Research

Research Summary/Interests

Dr. Lamberty is involved in research examining the effects of various interventions on rehabilitation outcomes following traumatic brain injury. He has also done work looking at the neuropsychological and psychological features of a variety of clinical disorders. Dr. Lamberty is working with colleagues at the Minneapolis VA on studies assessing the efficacy of mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) and Transcendental Meditation (TM) in individuals with PTSD. Other projects involve assessment of chronic neurotrauma, imaging and neuropsychological features of mild traumatic brain injury, the assessment and treatment of individuals with complex medical and psychiatric presentations and somatic symptom disorders.
