Dr. Kumra joined the Department of Psychiatry in July 2006.  Previously, he was with the The Zucker Hillside Hospital in New York as a Research Psychiatrist.  His research interests include Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, and Neuroimaging.  Dr. Kumra received his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Toronto in 1990.  From June 1990 ­ June 1991 he completed his internship at Toronto General Hospital through the University of Toronto in the Department of Internal Medicine.  Dr. Kumra attended the Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program at the Harvard Medical School from July 1991 ­ June 1993.  From July 1993 ­ June 1995 he completed his Child and Adolescent Fellowship from the Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Kumra is board certified in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, and Neurology.
