How to Apply


Instructions to Applicants

The University of Minnesota Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program requires completion of your file before you will be interviewed.  The following items are required to complete your file:

Completion of the enclosed application form

  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Medical School Dean's letter
  • Official transcripts from all colleges and medical schools attended
  • Current curriculum vitae
  • Letter from training director verifying previous residency training

Interviews

We request that any interested applicant arrange for a personal interview to familiarize him or herself with the atmosphere, facilities, and personnel at the University of Minnesota and affiliated hospitals.  Please try to schedule your interview well in advance.  To make an appointment or inquiry, contact our residency coordinator at 612-273-9711 or submit written materials to the following address.
