• Dr. Schulz presented the Medical School’s 2006 Dean’s Report whose cover features Drs Lim and White.
• University of Minnesota 2006 Community Fund Drive begins October 1.  You may pledge online at www.umn.edu/cfd
• David Cline, MD has agreed to chair the Department’s Adjunct Faculty Advisory Committee.  Dr. Cline has been an active member of the committee as well as in the Medical School’s mentoring program.
• American Psychiatry Association Practice Guidelines for the Treatment of Psychiatric Disorders Compendium 2006 is now available in our library.
• Mary Hensley, Neuroscience Center Director, commented that her staff is currently examining staffing needs for the center and will begin posting positions as they are created.
• Dr. Schulz announced that there is a NeuroSciences training grant available.  If interested, please contact Dr. Schulz for more information.
• Dr. Mackenzie reported that the Residency Review Site Visit held October 3 went well.  Dr. Mackenzie will receive the committee’s final report in approx. 7 months.
