Brown Bag Minutes of March 12, 2008 Meeting
o Dr. Schulz addressed the University of Minnesota - Mayo Clinic Research Corridor, a new initiative that will expand cooperation between the two institutions and increase the expertise bases here and in Rochester. This initiative takes advantage of the University¿s excellent capabilities in brain imaging and will eventually expand beyond psychiatric disorders. We are in the process of recruiting faculty for this important program.
o Joel Oberstar, M.D. has been accepted to the NIMH-sponsored ASCP clinical trials workshop in New York City.
o UMP has recognized the following Department of Psychiatry faculty for superior patient care:
o Elke Eckert, M.D.
o Jon Grant, J.D., M.D.
o Jason Horowitz, Ph.D.
